John Legere, also known as the no-filter CEO of T-Mobile, offered customers who switched from AT&T to their ‘un-carrier’ service a free year subscription to DirrecTV Now.
However, it turns out that streaming service is trash; reffered to as “a total disaster” and “a near-unusable service” by various tech reviewers.
Legere, having no tolerance for poor app quality, switched up his offer; now anyone who came to T-Mobile from AT&T via the DirecTV Now offer will be given a free year of Hulu instead a, “awesome streaming service that actually works,” according to Legere and T-Mobile.
New customers will also receive the free year of Hulu.
It should be noted, however, that the subscription is for Hulu Limited, which is ad-supported. You won’t have to deal with as many ads as cable, but you will be subject to some (and on some occasions you can choose which ads you’d like to see).
