Nintendo is offering Zelda fans a double dose of Twilight Princess. Not only is the popular Wii title, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess coming to the Wii U in HD, but it will be accompanied with a manga.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is slated for a Wii U release date sometime in April of this year, and we are to assume that the mobile manga will be released around the same time as the game (maybe even a little sooner).
Akira Himekawa, a duo female writing team, announced that they were going to be the minds behind the manga via their Twitter profile today:

The Twitter post reads:
! [Notice] Thank you for waiting ! “The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess” Shogakukan Manga Apps <Manga one> in the Series Decided New cartoon WAS Towapuri!
I wouldn’t say that this is a direct translation, being that I used Google Chrome’s translator plug-in, but you get the gist of it. Much like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, fans will be able to experience two somewhat similar versions of their favorite story (and with the same creators too!).
No release date has been announced for the manga, titled Zelda: Twilight Princess, but I really hope that the US doesn’t have to wait 8 years to get their hands on the English version of this manga, much like we did back when Ocarina got its own manga adaptation. All that is known is that Akira Himekawa will be writing the manga and that it will be released only in Japan via the Android and iPhone app, MangaONE.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Amiibo Bundle (dear lord, that is a mouthful) is set for a release date of March 4, 2016, so hopefully the manga gets released a little before the game in order to get fans as pumped as possible.
…and then 8 years later, the US will be able to read it too.
