According to multiple resources, Warner Bros is feeling the pressure from the mediocrity of Batman v Superman. How much so? They’ve started issuing some orders to the creative teams behind the DC Films such as Zack Snyder and James Wan.
James Wan, who was placed as the Director for Aquaman’s stand alone film, could be the next Director to walk from the DC Film Universe. The reason? “Creative differences.”
Sources went on to say this:
“Wan is feeling a tremendous amount of trepidation about Aquaman…Aquaman needs Wan, and right now Wan is trying to decide if he needs that hassle.
James Wan has been behind the project, and is the mastermind. Him backing out now is more than likely not the case, but if he did, that’d be a major change to the project.
Zack Snyder is also having multiple issues with the studios over creative control on the Justice League film.
“Lots of fights between Snyder and the WB execs, and lots of pressure from Burbank on Snyder, who is shooting in London.”
Warner Bros is looking to change the film in order to avoid disappointment. Of course, if those remember, they did the same ‘changes’ to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The changes? Well, they left the movie in a chaotic state. So, hopefully the get the gist and back out.
