Every now and then eBay can be a gem to some cool finds. You might find a genuine classic car. A classic Spider-Man issue. Perhaps even a rare figure autographed a ball. Well, eBay housed another fascinating find. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Except these copies, 10,000 of them to be exact, appeared after being stolen (and two weeks before the release date).

These copies, from the UK, to be exact, were stolen from a transit truck. Sony’s President Shuhei Yoshida told Sony players that they are in fact working with the police, and that players should be vigilant when it comes to spoilers regarding the fourth installment:

“As with most Naughty Dog games, the unfolding story is such an integral part of the experience and for this reason we wanted to warn you to beware of the potential for spoilers to be posted by people with access to stolen copies of the game.”

The highest sold unit came out at $131 dollars USD, and some managed to get delivered before eBay could have them removed.

So, we here at GNG warn you to watch out for spoilers for the game!
